Kenneth Rothweiler

Concentration: Ken, a partner and chair of the firm’s Management Committee, concentrates his practice on trials of complex personal injury matters.

Experience: Ken has extensive experience in litigating medical malpractice, products liability and other complex matters in Pennsylvania state and federal courts. He has tried over 100 jury trials resulting in some of the highest verdicts in Pennsylvania.

Ken is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars, and is active in training young trial attorneys. He has appeared on television panels with professors and politicians to discuss current legislative issues. He has been selected as a Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine and is also recognized as one of the top 100 lawyers in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. This distinction is limited to only 5% of the legal community in Pennsylvania.

Over the years, Ken has chaired various committees including the Medical-Legal Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and Education Committee of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He is one of the original Board members of the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania (BIAPA), and a former chair of its fundraising committee. BIAPA is a support organization for individuals who have suffered some type of brain injury, acquired or traumatic.

Education: Ken graduated from Montclair State College and the Delaware Law School of Widener University.

Membership: Ken has been a Board Member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Associations. In 2001, he served as President of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association which is comprised of over 1400 lawyers. Ken has been elected as an officer on the Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and will serve as President of the Association in the future. He has been a past recipient of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association's Distinguished Service Award
